Services

As your local specialty groomer, the final price is always dependent on size/weight, coat condition/coat goal and temperament.

  • De-shed

A de-shed includes unique shampoos, conditioners and sprays made to slick excess coat and the use of tools such as a high velocity dryer, coat rake, curry comb, slicker brush, and the occasional carding where needed (ie. mats form behind ears due to excess undercoat). De-shedding is done until the hair is no longer shedding in excess and will often be accompanied with a light hand scissor to clean up feet, feathers, pants and undercarriage. Nails included.

  • Full Groom

La crème de la crème. A full body groom requires time, precision and a knowledge on how to create a balanced appearance on each dog’s body. Most owners prefer a short clip for ease of maintenance, they like to let dogs be dogs! We also offer a long haired version where we bring beauty to the beast for our more posh pets. Please note, we are only able to work with what we are given, please inquire about tools, techniques and training recommended for at home maintenance to see if a longer haircut is a fit for you. Nails included.

  • The Triple F

The face, feet and sani is a high end appointment type that is only offered to existing clients who are on a reoccurring schedule. This is all of the fluff and drama of a thick, long coat with a side of squeaky clean. The face, feet and undercarriage are trimmed to promote the long lasting cleanliness of their fur and a dirt-free home. A fine toothed comb must be able to pass through their locks to book this appointment. Nails included.

  • Nails!

At this time, we do not offer appointments for nail trimmings. What a strange thing to hear, right? “A dog grooming salon that doesn’t clip nails?!“ Well, hear us out! Furget Me Knots is primarily focused on improving dogs’ lives and clipping nails is something that is often overlooked because in our minds, it should be easy! Unfortunately because of this, clipping nails becomes very stressful for dogs over time. This stress can be remedied by building trust and a bond during a groom as we lead up to the nails! Now, I find that all too often, a dog that doesn’t enjoy nail clipping when it is young turns into one that requires a muzzle or sedation for something that should be relatively quick and easy for them. We then ask ourselves how they got to be this way and the answer is simple, repetitive negative experiences equals similar or worsening negative reactions! If you’re interested in creating lifelong positive repercussions, fill out our intake form to book a grooming appointment!
